One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.
But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.
When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away
My Review
I am a big fan of Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings. I've been a fan since they wrote Beautiful Bastard. I have met them a few times and they are just so zany and down to Earth. I was so happy to see that they were writing another series. Sweet Filthy Boy is the first in a quartet book series, entitled Wild Seasons. This first book gets the ball rolling by introducing us to the leading ladies and gentlemen. First there's Mia, Harlow, and Lola. BFFs who are in Vegas to celebrate Mia's graduation. While in Vegas, the ladies meet Ansel, Finn, and Oliver. The men are homies that met during a biking marathon. So after a drunken night, all three girls get married to the boys. What are the odds of that? After the booze wears out, everyone involved decide that it's a better idea to just annul the marriages and go in separate ways. Ansel invites Mia to live with him in Paris, just to see where their relationship might go. At first it's great. Ansel shows Mia her all of the sights and his moves in the bedroom. Everything is going swimmingly until you meet Perry. Perry is the fourth member of the boys' biking group. A bit of a mystery surrounds Perry as no one seems to want to talk about Perry. This an issue and causes tension among the group. The ending was one I expected (because I like HEAs). Overall, I loved Sweet Filthy Boy and definitely need to read the other books in this series.
