With over 1.3 million copies of her books sold, Kristen Proby has become well-known for her strong, witty characters and unforgettable love stories. Following the success of Proby’s Fusion series, we are thrilled to introduce the new Romancing Manhattan series, starting with All the Way. Readers will escape to Martha’s Vineyard with the spirited London Watson and her captivating love interest Finn Cavanaugh as they navigate their way through love, grief, and family.

Finn Cavanaugh is known for being a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. He owns a successful law firm with his brother and brother-in-law in Manhattan. On the rare occasion that he has down time, he spends it at his home in Martha’s Vineyard. But when Finn’s troubled niece goes to stay with him for the summer, he’s reluctant to take time off from work. That is, until he meets his beautiful new neighbor, London.
London Watson is a Tony Award winning actress on Broadway. When tragedy strikes her family, leaving her alone and injured, she flees Manhattan. Hoping she can figure out how to pick up the pieces of her life, London is convinced that she’ll never be able to return to the stage. But when she meets the charming young girl next door and her sexy uncle, they soon lure London out of her shell as she finally begins to heal from the wounds of her past.

But when London feels confident enough to return to the spotlight, she’s dealt another devastating blow. Will the newfound love between London and Finn be enough to conquer all? Or will it be over before it has a chance to grow?

I remember the days when Kristen Proby was starting out as an indie author. I met her a few times at indie author signing events. She's super sweet and as her stories progressed, I always find myself picking up one of her books whenever I need a break from Young Adult fiction.

All the Way is the start of the Romancing Manhattan series and a pretty good start to a new series. London Watson is an actress on Broadway who recently suffered a devastating blow to her family and her shiny career. While recuperating in Martha's Vineyard, she runs into Finn Cavanaugh, her parents' sexy lawyer, and his niece. Sparks and an instant attraction between the two is obvious. However, their relationship starts off rocky and continues to be so.

Overall, it was a good read. Plot was good with even amounts of foreshadowing that ultimately lead to a decent ending. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

As the only vampire child ever born, some believed Elisa Sullivan had all the luck. But the magic that helped bring her into the world left her with a dark secret. Shifter Connor Keene, the only son of North American Central Pack Apex Gabriel Keene, is the only one she trusts with it. But she’s a vampire and the daughter of a Master and a Sentinel, and he’s prince of the Pack and its future king.

When the assassination of an ambassador brings old feuds to the fore again, Elisa and Connor must choose between love and family, between honor and obligation, before Chicago disappears forever.

As a hardcore Chicagoland fan, I was heartbroken when the series came to an end. The ending was perfect and did justice to all of Chloe's hard work. It also left enough material for Wild Hunger to start. Wild Hunger starts with Elisa, daughter of Ethan Sullivan, Master of Cadogan House and Merit, Sentinel of Cadogan House. There is a time skip, since this is Elisa's story. Elisa just finished studying abroad at École Dumas, Europe's only university for supernaturals. She's currently "interning/working security" with Maison Dumas, one of the most prestigious vampire Houses in Europe. The book start with Elisa and her European friends packing up to escort the leaders of Maison Dumas (and other Houses) to a peace summit in Chicago. However, right out of the gate, we get to see Elisa in action. While in Europe, she also trained as a swordswoman and it definitely shows when a little mayhem breaks out in the streets of Paris.

After this ordeal, Elisa and company head to Chicago for the summit. Past characters from the original Chicagoland series do make an appearance or are mentioned so that we know what they've been up to. As you would think, not everyone is interested in peace talks. Trouble breaks out, an assassination occurs, and all hell breaks loose. This puts Elisa in a precarious position. Her loyalty to Maison Dumas and to Cadogan House will be tested. Of course, we do get to see the next generation of Chicagoland sups, like Connor Keene (yum). He's got his own problems with the Pack to deal with.  I really liked the angle Chloe took with Wild Hunger. While we do see some of our favorite characters, this is Elisa's book and we do get to see her shine, stand on her own merits, and see her as an individual; not just as the daughter of the Master and Sentinel of Cadogan House. Overall, I enjoyed this book. There were a few subplots that I was not expecting and some subplots that I totally saw coming, but made me deliriously giddy. I am looking forward to the sequel!
